Sofie Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Sofie

Sofie, so, if, of, foe, foes!
You mother visited me twice disguised;
But, i was able to recognise her on both occasions,
And, it was like a trap set before me!
Able to overcome to choose the truth.
Dark sayings! !
With administration at home;
So, i cannot visit you this time around,
Knowing the ways of your people in this land of trouble.
Meet, feet, fleet, beet, greet, street!
With the state of my mind today like,
The muse of the dark forest in this land.
