Solitaire Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Solitaire

It's a lonely game
Alone you play and lose with no shame
Only because no one is there
You can't fail and no one cares

I'd rather play gin
It takes two too begin
And if you lose
There someone there to mend the bruise

JoAnn, I used to play solitaire a lot once, then I found a new game to play called writing poetry and posting it on Poemhunter.com. More fun, although you start on your own, then suddenly you find you have lots friend reading your rhyme. And some become special players. If you had meter you would get a hundred from me. As you haven't I just have to say thank you for sharing it my friend. David
