Some More So Than Others Poem by Francis Duggan

Some More So Than Others

All of us humans are flawed some more so than others
And so few of us are what we do seem
Some of us are showy and quite self conceited
And others suffer of low self esteem.

A perfect person I have not met
Though such a one as a living saint
I only speak of what I do know of
Since I am one not free of taint.

I do not like egotistical people
Since such in myself I do see
I can only say I dislike in them
The flaws I know that are in me.

For imperfection than yourself look no further
Only the most vain one would not realize
That he or she are far from perfect
That should not come as a surprise.

I know that I am a flawed person
Some of that may say tell us something new
There are many kinder and better than me
Though my kind are not of a few.
