Some People Are Born To Life Poem by Francis Duggan

Some People Are Born To Life

Some people are born to life to die young
And some live to die old and in death are unsung
Though they were good people and never harmed anyone in any way
They are not remembered by many today
But when the wealthy celebrities die news of their passing travels fast
We hear and read about them and their glorious past
Though many of them did lack in empathy
And for the suffering of others felt no sympathy
Though many with what i say would disagree
We admire people for their wealth and condemn poor people for their poverty
Though in an unequal Human World for one to win big others do have to lose
Though losing is a thing anyone does not choose
But death is the great equalizer in truth one can say
Since everyone does end up as dead one day.
