Some Small Poems Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Some Small Poems

A Fleet of Swans Returning Hastily

Swans pedaling
Their flights
On marking
The storm gathering,
The sky overcast with black clouds
And the gloom lurking over.

Friends Fishing Together With

The fisherman,
The heron
And the kingfisher
All the three near the water body
After their odds and ends
Sharing the talks
All but silently.

Hunger

Telling the tales of hamlets
Lying secluded
Burning under heat and dust,
People living half-fed,
The belly burns as the hearth.

The Sunflower

With the disc
Towards the rising sun
Golden yellow and bulby.

Rakshabandhan

The colourful wrist band
She waits to bind
On the hand of the brother.

When will it come,
The auspicious time?
