Some Un-Rushed Morning... Poem by Edmund V. Strolis

Some Un-Rushed Morning...

Rating: 5.0

Some mornings we are not rushed and life falls into place.
Sometimes the sun shines just for you, so giddy up.
Sometimes the radio plays your songs and carries you away.
Sometimes the universe is not conspiring to ruin your drive.
Sometimes you stop and smell the roses and feel light and free
Sometimes you eye that blueberry pie and slice that baby wide.
Sometimes everyone feeds off your smile and they are all so kind.
Sometimes a doubt that crowds your night is finally put to bed.
Sometimes your philosophy is proven to be a joyful pleasure ride.
Sometimes you see clearly life's blessings and pleasures.
Sometimes you let cares go, like happy pigeons from a cage.

I accident deleted my comment. I really enjoyed this poem because of my daily morning struggles with tired children.. And because blueberry pie is a family favorite...and I ❤️ The optimism displayed here. Nice write! !
