Did I ever tell you the story of a boy and his true love?
He took her on a single date and they both fell for each other.
She spent the autumn waking up in between his arms,
She told him how perfect that was, and that he was the one.
They promised their remaining years, but their time somehow...
...
...
...
...died
But then she pulled away, and his calls were not returned,
He went on Christmas to see her,
But her eyes were glowing a different passion,
The focus wasn't on his heart anymore
And her feelings had somehow...
...
...
...
...died
Did I ever tell you about when he drove her out of state,
On the couch or stealing kisses behind her fathers back,
Or in her bedroom hiding form her mother,
With a passion burning so how, I ask you
How could anyone wait for other half of eternity?
It felt so right, and it seemed so right, but it couldn't be right,
Their passion somehow...
...
...
...
...died
She went away, and she's not coming back.
And that boy somehow...
...
...
...
...died
There’s a lot of raw youthful emotion in this (slightly on the whiny side) , but it doesn’t suffer for it though, it has a certain something about it that I like.
