Something Had Has Broken Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Something Had Has Broken

Everything once meant something to them.
Everything they saw and had between them then.
Now that something meant...
When they first began,
Has little left to offer.
And the pricelessness of it...
Is not merely exchanged as token!
Something had has broken!
And much of that has decreased in value!
But they wish for no one else,
To know its true worth.
When all pieces shine together.
Wishing to deplete it into nothing,
Themselves.
And they keep enforced the dullness...
Of the nothingness they are!
