Something Is Going On Poem by Jean P. Gomez

Something Is Going On

Why can’t I forget your smell?
Why do I see you when I close my eyes?
Something is happening to me
But I can't figure out what it is

I could never get tired of looking at you
I like all of you
Those gorgeous brown eyes
They are full of mysteries and stories
And your dark and curly hair
Always finds out a way to drive me crazy

I kind of like this new feeling
There are no words to explain this
My head is a real mess
And the only guilty are you

Why can’t I stop thinking of you?
I can't keep away from my mind
The flavor of your lips
Your beautiful smile
The heat of your body
I can't get you out of my mind

I don’t want to stop kissing your lips
They are so sweet and warm
Like a boy with his candy
I don’t want to leave them

The time I have spent with you
It’s a worthy treasure to keep
I'd spend every second beside you
And I promise to make you happy
