Something Of Reality



Don't let dope
destroy your hope
push it out
far into the river
deep and wide
redeem your self-esteem
and your pride
you've smoked
your money down the drain
now shame
is your heavy rain
you must now
face reality as
it suddenly appears
as your eyes flood
themselves with briny tears
