Sometimes the things we see and value,
Will one day let us down in amusements.
Sometimes the family we so far and in length,
Cherish, adore and love will crumble down
Sometimes the wife/husband standing by you
Will betray, disrespect and violate your rights.
Sometimes your much loved son/daughter
Will run away from home and abandon you
Sometimes your valuable friends besides you
Will one time dishonor and disregard you
Sometimes your most cherished parents of old
Will act wickedly and dissipate your inheritance
Sometimes your close neighbor and villager
Will act wickedly and maim your property
Sometimes your livestock and fowl
Will show laxity and be less productive
Sometimes the house you live and reside in
Will one time be unhinabitable and scary
Sometimes the property you own and value most
Will vanish and you are left empty
Sometimes your physical health
Will let you down and put you down
Sometimes I who have written this poem
Will be unavailable and gone over yonder
Sometimes I who have uplifted you this far
Will be unable to draft more notations and quotes
Sometimes your needs and wants
Will be more than you can be able to acquire
Sometimes your finances and income n
Will be less than your total expenditure
Sometimes death and grave in unison
Will knock at your door in need of your life
Sometimes the long awaited appointment/interview
Will be indefinitely postponed or cancelled
Sometimes your house will be broken into
And everything in it loaded to a waiting van
Sometimes the person you so much love and cherish
Will be visited by death and taken away from you
Sometimes your adored employment
Will be as good as death and grave
Sometimes what you see and hear
Will becomes unbearable to sight and ear
Sometimes for the better part of it
Everything becomes unbearable and ugly
Just remember not to take everything for granted.
