Sometimes Hearing Innocence Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Sometimes Hearing Innocence

Sometimes hearing the innocence of being young oh so
long ago, heart letting go of childlike tears inside
a tribute to this inner child.

Still here within this now senior adult, feelings of
tenderness, a gentle soul, never forgetting these oft
beautiful feelings of an inner child who used to play
for hours within this poet.
