Sometimes There's Three Poem by Colin Coplin

Sometimes There's Three

Rating: 4.5

Shimmer, shimmer, breeze caress the water,
Silent notes flow out from nowhere, and dance in the sun,
A moment later, exhausted, it's all over, another life's course has run
So, laugh, laugh, it sometimes good to laugh
When the blind are leading the blind folded
It's sometimes helps to laugh

There's, two sides to every story, sometimes there's three
Lost in the middle sits the truth, in need of some closer scrutiny
I know, she said, ‘cause that's what happened to me

Laugh, laugh, even the jester has to laugh
You can't kill an idea, once it's found a home, but ‘til then it helps to laugh

There's, two paths to every journey, and sometimes there's three
You can take a trip around the world, to simply cross the street
I know, she said, ‘cause that's what happened to me

Laugh, laugh, even the jester has to laugh
Who pays the piper, when things turn upside down, it sometimes helps to laugh

There's two women in your life, yes, sometimes there's three
You can make a wish upon a star, only to find it land in your street
I know, she said, ‘cause that's what happened to me

Laugh, laugh, even the jester has to laugh
You can complain about the wind, or expect it to change
Sometimes it's best to adjust the sails, sit back and laugh

There's two people fighting for your mind, sometimes there's three
Each a mask you wear at different times, ‘til one fits comfortably
I know, she said ‘cause that's what happened to me

Laugh, laugh, even the jester has to laugh
In order to write about life, you first must have to live it, and sometimes enjoy a laugh

Shimmer, shimmer, breeze caress the water,
Silent notes flow out from nowhere, and dance in the sun,

There's, two sides to every story, sometimes there's three
If you tell a lie often enough, you can make it reality
I know, she said, I've seen that happen to me

Laugh, laugh, even the jester has to laugh
Official truth, or secret truth, even deep state has to laugh

Shimmer, shimmer, breeze caress the water,
Silent notes flow out from nowhere, and dance in the sun,
A moment later, exhausted, it's all over, another life's course has run
So, laugh, laugh, it sometimes good to laugh
When the blind are leading the blind folded
It's sometimes helps to laugh
