Sometimes You Only Get One Chance Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Sometimes You Only Get One Chance

Sometimes you only get one chance..
-to put aside your pride and say, humbly, 'I was wrong'
-to explain a misunderstanding that, if ignored, would sour a friendship
-to hear what a child very much needs to tell you
-to defend a person when remarks are being made against him
-to accept a shy but sincere offer of friendship
-to stand up and be counted when you don't agree with the crowd
