Son Of Adam - Poem by Md. Asadullah

I am striving for perfection.
Yet imperfections you'll see.
Much goodness you'll find.
Yet their is much fault in me.

If bit of forgiveness, patience;
And mercy in me you see.
Please know I am son of Adam.
There is something of God in me.

If bit of arrogance, jealousy;
And hatred in me you see,
Please know I am son of Adam.
Evil Lucifer circulates within me.

    No one is perfect on Earth... So let us learn to forget and forgive and allow concessions! We are sons of Adam and Lucifer is all the time around and we cannot be perfect! Interesting write! (Report)Reply

    Aloha Md...

    My Brother... thank you for this post... It is one each man should read and share... for all of our dis-similarities, this most common of features, that we all come from our father, is rarely discussed... yes, we are carried by our Mothers... butt... that seed which makes US-US... it is the male that makes me-me... all of the best from this life, to you, and all of your relations... Michael.
