Song: Little Star Poem by Dave SmithWhite

Song: Little Star

Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
I wonder if you're up to par.
If love of self can soar so high;
Blunders reign, as empires die.
Twinkle, twinkle - it ain't too far...
Just take a ride in Tesla's car!

Twinkle, twinkle, little rock;
Arcane saws on chopping block.
Moves in space reflecting light,
Every facet burning bright.
Twinkle, twinkle, asteroid:
A deadly beauty we'd best avoid.

Twinkle, twinkle, little eye.
Do you think that I'm a spy?
Can I prove by dashing charm,
It's all a game? I mean no harm.
Twinkle, twinkle, the brittle lies,
We tell ourselves to boost our size.

Twinkle, twinkle, nettles, why?
As the intellectual's inkwells dry.
Up above in heady cloud,
In ivory towers, so well endowed.
Twinkle, twinkle, When envy rules,
The world is run by arrant fools!

Twinkle, twinkle. Cannot speak.
Cannot tell if you're a freak.
Cannot tell if you're for real,
Cannot tell you what I feel.
Twinkle, twinkle. What a joke!
You're as caring as a line of coke.

Twinkle, twinkle, little tweet.
I wonder if we'll ever meet?
Can I love, aloof and high,
Your easy quip, and sly reply?
Twinkle, twinkle, little twit;
You really are so full of it!

Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
Have you become my avatar?
Will you shine or will you fizz;
Tell me what's what and what there is?
Twinkle, twinkle, in my new memoir,
You'll be a glitch on my space bar!
