Song: Nowhere To Hide - Poem by Dave SmithWhite

There's nowhere to hide,
These feelings so blue;
To raise up by healing,
Or just start anew.
I know I'm your friend,
But that's not enough;
For at the day's end,
I just need your love!

There's nowhere to hide,
My feelings for you.
When I'm there at your side,
I'm concealing my view.
There's nowhere to hide,
No haven to choose,
No refuge, no shelter,
No use and no clues.

I am chilled to the bone,
And the heating is gone.
I'm here on my own,
Just writing this song.
I am filled with a passion,
Can any think wrong?
When love is cold fashion,
It's cool to belong!

There's nowhere to hide,
My feelings for you.
I know cause I've tried,
Repealing taboo.
But I can't abide,
This emotionless stew.
How can I decide,
What's real and what's true?

I've toiled in the zone.
In the rich soil and loam.
My green shoots have grown,
In my shy cyber home.
The seeds that I've sown,
In testosterone,
May bloom yet unknown,
Composing a poem.

There's nowhere to hide,
My feelings for you.
Too long I've denied,
Revealing the truth.
There's nowhere to hide,
No place to go,
No ceiling too high,
No abyss is too low.

It's frozen outside,
As the ice crystals ride,
The first breath of winter,
Like an incoming tide.
It's warmer inside,
And still warmer if I'd
Be less the vain dreamer,
And let go of my pride!

There's nowhere to hide,
My feelings for you.
My words stick tongue-tied,
Congealing like glue.
There's nowhere to hide.
I'm reeling, askew.
I'm oddly appealing,
It's all I can do!
