Sonnet # 10 Poem by John A. Hancock

Sonnet # 10

My eyes do not deceive me
Thou art beautiful I proclaim
No truer words could I have spoken
With these words of love again
The stars are the eyes of the universe
Each night I am humbled by their grace
The celestial heavens I'm reminded of
When by chance I gaze upon thy face
Words, words thet but touch the feelings
I bare in my heart for you
Endless lines dedicating my love for thee
O' what joy love fill'd rhymes can be
