Sonnet Poem by Steven Olugbemi

Sonnet

Oh! my star - Where art thOu land Or in sky?
Will my future be sO thin or sO keen?
Will my kismet be sO lOw Or sO high?
Time and lOve are but wOrldly encraven

Will i be great like pOetic shakespeare?
Or be less a mOrtal withOut vision
Will my heart be fill'd with hate and Of care?
My clOud nOt rain in plight Of submissiOn

Tell me why the earth is sO dark and bright?
My sOlace lOne like silent of the sun
Will life test my weakling might at its hight?
As i seek tO wOrk my greatness fair-run

Can kismet Ov'rshadOw the wOrk of man?
Or One's wOrks be accOunt'd On wOnt'd a plain?
