Sonnet 22, Be Seen By The Light Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Sonnet 22, Be Seen By The Light

Be seen by the light that comes through your way,
Everything beautiful it bears and possesses;
Be seen by the starry night and brighten day,
Sun in your garden is the one that blesses.
Go out of the cold and into the glowing,
Happiness is hiding away from all;
We try every answer without ever knowing,
Where came purest voices and truest call.
Now hurl away every shadow in heart,
For light has come in with a flame that burns;
Now be seen by life and make a fresh start,
Everything wistfully to you then turns.
All hope has its wishes that constantly try,
See a bit further, where mountains are high.
