Sonnet: A True Christian’s Duty Poem by Dr John Celes

A Christian true must pray for neighbor’s all;
The Almighty decrees us to love next;
‘To share the love of God’ – is clarion call:
The main message of Bible is this text.

A Christian’s lucky, God has chosen him;
God has him in His righteous list as well;
God gives the extra light when life turns dim;
Jesus rescues him when situation’s hell.

The grace of God has made us follow Christ;
We must take other souls to heaven too;
Good news of Kingdom, we must tell them first;
God gives the preaching zeal to just a few.

Our sacred duty ’tis to pray for souls;
Good Shepherd gives some sheep, some extra roles!
