King Solomon asked God for great wisdom,
To rule his subjects justly all his life;
He blundered not but did mistakes seldom,
And thanked God for this gift amidst his strife!
God gives His special blessings to some souls,
But punishes them if promises aren’t kept;
God is ready to grant us many roles,
But won’t excuse if we had only slept!
O God, I will not ask of Thee for wealth:
For, I can’t take it back with me when dead;
O God, I ask for just my soul’s good health,
Wisdom, contentment and a balanced head!
God, give me faith unshakeable always,
To show the world your love and pleasant ways!

It would seem that you have the right precription for inner health and happiness, Dr. Celes. Your patients are very lucky to have such a fine physician-poet as yourself. I wish you and your sonnets well. Kindest regards, Sandra

A great deal of cure and healing comes by what and how a doctor tells his/her patients.Drugs have a certain but well-defined, limited role.The rest of the 'holistic 'approach' is fully available to every health service provider. Taking hints from worthy biblical lines is truly worthwhile. Thanks Sandra. God bless you. Dr John Celes
