Sonnet: God Be With Me Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: God Be With Me

Let any problems seek me God but I
Just want to be loyal to your scepter!
For you’re the only one Lord, Almighty;
The Satanic-evil forces hater.

O let my life beset be with travails;
Sometimes, you do allow them for my good;
It is well known that Truth and God prevails!
Tho’ nipp’d I may be in the state of bud.

Nevertheless, You are the one true Friend,
Who will help me someday surely, I know,
And guide me to a fitting earthly end,
To Providence and Heaven, help me bow

How can I ever miss the place you’ve made
For Righteous souls, after from earth, they fate.
