Sonnet: God's Amazing Grace Poem by Dr John Celes

Our earthly life is not in human hands!
Full freedom God allows to human race;
We live successfully in alien lands;
Incredible are things done by God's grace.

Amazing power has grace of God that rains,
When man by fervent prayer links with God;
A soul of sin through repentance, grace gains;
The grace of God can absolve sins and rod.

But grace of God enters hearts which repent;
God neither forsakes nor abandons men;
Christ made Confession as a Sacrament;
Reconciliation helps us gain heaven.

Miraculously works Almighty's grace;
God sees the human heart and not the face!
