Sonnet: Happy Wedding Day, Dear Better Half Poem by Dr John Celes

Another wedding day has blossomed fast,
Evoking reminiscences of past,
And happy memories of that great day,
As we were brought together in God's way!

The nuptial knots have stood the test of time,
Entwining bodies, minds and hearts sublime,
And grace of God Almighty made the bond
Worthwhile, inseparable and quite fond.

We're poised for silver jubilee next year,
As peace and harmony draw us well near;
Let's thank the Maker for His blessings much
That gave us bliss, despite strife's subtle touch.

What God has joined, none dare asunder put;
The Holy Spirit has remained our strut.

To Dear Mercy this day,
