Sonnet: My Successes, I Owe To God Alone Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: My Successes, I Owe To God Alone

Rating: 5.0

My earthly success, I owe much to God;
Without His timely help, I am a naught;
To boast all things I did myself is odd;
I was rescued by God from problems caught.

Life's moments passed off smoothly by His grace;
He made me see His purpose and His will;
With time, He gave divine a gaze and face;
He healed me every time I'd fallen ill.

Miracles filled my life upon the earth;
His love abundant bathed each day of life;
His Word helped me to walk His way since birth;
God freed me from perils and immense strife.

He gave my vocal cords their special tone;
My successes, I owe to God alone.

Excellent poem depicting humility and politeness while expressing gratitude for the Almighty for all the achievements in life since nothing is possible without His blessings. Be always blessed. Thanks for sharing.
