SOOTHING RHYME

As I gradually age and ripen with time,
A bit of rhyme always invigorates my
mind!
Poetry is like a soothing balm,
Reading and composing keeps me calm!
And when I read those classical lines,
I forget I am ageing with time!
Those great outpouring from poetic souls,
They enter my being to make me whole!
Poetry is the tranquilizer of my mind,
Superior to the opium of oriental times!
