Sorrow's Roses Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Sorrow's Roses

Carefully treading down lanes of bereavement,
looking for sorrow's roses to ease the pain
of living.

Taking steps towards grief before it's time
has come, hoping to not have to be hit head
on with it.

Freezing inside with intense fear, afraid to
find the tears I will need to cope with life's
disillusionment.
