Soul Ascension Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Soul Ascension

Soul, come out
Fly well beyond the sky
Turn into a golden comet
Sparkling up into the stars embrace

The universe is so vast
So many directions to go
Nothing will ever judge me
For what I have, whom I am
This venture dreamt deeply implored

So much to take in
Could never comprehend
Everything and anything
The light upon each galactic birthing

Skin is so overrated
Soul, show this universe who I really am
Never do I want to be in the center
Just want to be everywhere where I have never been

Soul, come on out
Eternal explorer you will become
When it shall be your time to fly away

I will then be as one
With the Universe's most secret of ways

I will always live on,
There will never be an end

Soul, you will have your glory
Help this flesh fight for its right to live
It makes you even stronger when you begin to ascend!

I cannot leave now
So much more work to be done
This body has so much to plan
Going to wherever it has never explored!

Body make them see this soul
Your voice is too silent
Make them hear you
Live life to the fullest
Then I will take control

Skin is a vessel to the evolution of self
Giving knowledge to the future of the soul

To this body, to this soul
I shall never be alone!
As hard as it is
I will adapt
And go where I truly need to go!

Soul, come out upon these dreams
Fly well beyond the sky
Turn into a golden comet
Subliminally teach me the next step
So when my flesh withers,
My soul will finally feel whole

Soul, Wait for my natural exit from this flesh
Then eternity will be ours to explore!

Soul, Adapt me to everything
This I truly implore!
