Before time existed, I knew you
Our souls were united in friendship.
Before our bodies were formed,
our spirits danced in the cloud.

I spoke to you a thousand times,
Before we were born into this world.
But when we met in the flesh
I couldn't recognize you.

I will revert to my spirit,
I will speak from the echoes of my heart,
In hopes of discovering once again
our eternal unity-that rose, that love,
that neither loses its scent
nor ever dies.
