We are soul mates, it's written in the sky,
When love catches you, do not ask why,
Because it knows who is your perfect fit,
But we won't fall in love, we were born in it,
And if we do fall, the pit will be an abyss,
So that we will fall forever, as we please,
Our plot was written by God, directed by angels,
Therefore we are in need of nothing else,
From eternal counsel 'twas predetermined,
That my thoughts would reflect your mind,
And the void that is concealed in your heart
Would perfectly appreciate my love for art,
It was predestined how we would meet,
And that my heart would leap when we greet,
Our love will never depend on our best,
But will on the love of our God find its rest,
And He will Himself see to it from above
That we are drunk and helpless in love,
For our soul-tie was declared from high,
And when love caught us, we didn't ask why.
