American Male

Souls Unfettered - Poem by American Male

a heart finally let loose
freed from shattered mold,
a testament to faded lover's
gossamer threads grown old

two souls unfettered
as breath in night air,
blown on cold winds
spurred by lonely despair

this hearts torn fabric
woven from love’s loom,
oft sought sweet release
now awaits in your tomb

tending gardens of stone
monuments to lifeless joy,
for her he spends eternity
the wandering lost little boy
