South Poem by Dorsey Baker

South

colorful hippy
down in deep
dark Mississippi
aint no streetlight
ear drum
don't beat right
colorful hippy
down in deep
dark Mississippi
ancient trees
reach out
with naked limbs
broken down cars
with rusty rims
rub your silver dollar
until it shine
just like mine
