Nicely written, Don. I would like to have that vantage point. But still, when I lament the fact that I will never be able to travel in space, I walk outside on clear nights and gaze up, reminding myself that I am indeed flying through space on a rather large, spherical ship. My word! what a comparison! . beautiful! i've read so many comparison to a loved one but never like this one.So intelligent. you have brought Space alive and breathing in your poem. I have respect for the poem and to you as as an astronaut.
