Keep football alive,
The sport that has changed many lives,
The man on the thrown and one on the street,
May respect and give respect to every feet,
To cheer in wins as well as defeats.
The game that units countries of the world,
And give peace a voice and a wall,
For such that were torn apart by war,
May see there's hope a far,
And turn youths into world class stars.
In football men and women can shine,
It's a sport where gender has no line,
Only unspeakable joy when all can play,
In the field, whether night or day,
With the excitement that never goes away.
Let no politics into this game,
That lads and lass may enjoy the same,
With love and joy, more than gold,
And keep the legacy which is never old,
But stays refresh with every footfall.
