Speaking Poem by Raziel Baptiste

Speaking

Dear Old Man
I know, I never speak
But when I talk you listen
Man that's a feat.
I tired of my life
But not in that way
Suicide,
I just want something new
Not really wanting to die.
I see the light in the end
Gotta ask though, how are you?
Every time I call
I keep asking stuff from you.
Can I ask, what are your thoughts?
I don't think I ever ask
I really didn't care before
But I think this time I'll try an ask.
I'm alive for a change
Keeping in my harsh ways
I know I'll never change
So I hope you like me just the same.
Where was I?
Man I'm sorry
I keep side tracking from my thoughts
Did you know, you probably did
But I'm something of a lost dog
Like I was lost in a fog
Looking for something never lost
I need my heart
To beat a little better
Getting fatter with less cause.
It's my fault,
But one last think
I don't think you'll get this message
But if you get a chance to hair it
Please response
Even with somethings lessen.
So one more lessen learn
I'll tell my mind
Wake up from this dream
Sunrise to sunset
I learned not everything's just a dream.
