Speaking Past You

Speaking past you
People assume you'll wait
What else do you have to do
Speaking past you
There you are just with you
Trying to understand
Your own language in your own land
Are you someone else
Or are you invisible now
Or were you then
Back when you kept wondering when
Will people stop speaking past me
Speaking past me
