POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My balconies are used by pigeons to lay eggs and hatch eggs, during my long periods of absence. When I am back, I let the hatchlings to grow sufficiently so they can fly away and then I won't allow them again, as they are messy and smelly and bad for my health. This cycle keeps repeating!

I can very well visualize this scene described! These pigeons can be a pain in the neck! Their droppings are repulsive and when they come in groups, they destroy our peace. However I enjoy watching their fledglings, their gradual development and the maternal care enjoyed by them! Here you have given life to a casual scene!
