Spellbound Poem by G J Salgado

Spellbound

Suddenly a spirit attached itself to me,
Hallow so deep within that I cannot breathe.
Unwanted pleasures then soon came,
He whispered to me as he called my name.
Desperate was I to be forgiven or forsaken,
Bitten by an obsession I found when I awakened.
Pages of him left me Thunder Kissed upon the dust,
Legends of who he was found me as I was within his lust.
Time after time his love burned through me like a raging fire,
Echoes of a crazed love affair filled my every desire.
Within him I soon vanished,
Once again I would be relinquished.
His bite stings as it left me mesmerized,
From his illusions my power was multiplied.
I knew I would forever be his Midnight Muse,
His wild ways and his Immortal Kiss I will never refuse.
Beyond the stars and the outer skies,
One last kiss before I die.
Unspoken lies and lost regrets,
Takes me upon a dream that I haven't found yet.
Frozen paths become me,
Icicle bridges I cross delicately.
Shape shifting blood of a hybrid I inherited,
My capabilities were now superhuman and enhanced energies executed.
Invested from a divine intervention,
Illustrating his family traditions.
A family I have inherited from him through his ancestors embrace,
Who had dedicated me as an heiress as a gift upon the human race.
From these stories I am seduced by,
A quest from generations in Legends of my own descendants I comply,
Manipulative were his magical sources,
Manifested by his own gravitational forces.
It made me extremely vulnerable unto his possession,
I was the object of his obsessive creation.
Built from his affection of me revolutionized,
The adolescence of my innocence from my mind it derived.
Iwas the ultimate limit of his natural selection,
It reminded me of his own reflection.
He portrays me through a mirror of perfection in disguise,
For we are never hidden from each other and uncompromised.
His emptiness fulfills my every core,
Bloodthirsty I am as he leaves me wanting more.
Consigned and written upon his soul among our own derivatives,
Such sweet sorrow, sins, and love will forgive.
Something hidden that I cannot disguise by secrets,
Promises of eternal love never to be misinterpret.
Eternal shadows will not sleep,
Thoughts of loneliness we do not speak.
Invoking simple treasures upon me remaining,
An implement to his spirit of mimicry retaining.
In his eyes Phases of the Moon take flight,
For he is my Beast of the Knight!
