Spiderman Poem by Pamela lutwyche

Spiderman

Rating: 2.0

You know, it has been said,
never trust a spider, if you are a fly,
But, I think everyone should be given a chance.

He seems fine to me and I’m sure,
I cannot see what all the fuss is about,
this spider he talks such sweet words,
his poetry is rather devine.

He has said, in a loving way,
one day I will make you mine.
Here comes the big spider now,
he has offered to build me a home.
Somewhere I can stay and yes,
I will take him up on his offer, if only for a day.

I’ve moved in now and I’m sure it will be o.k.
I can see him he’s looking down at me,
giving me the wink with his eye.

I think he really does fancy me,
oh how lucky am I.
What’s this, I cannot move!
I am stuck in his home,
now he is on his way.

oh, no I should have listened,
to everything that was said,
because In one minute,
I probably, will be dead.
