Spills & Thrills Poem by John Sensele

Spills & Thrills

Spills and thrills enthuse with no ruse
Hearts that sip
Simple pleasures which choose
Warmth to keep.

Spills and thrills deal porcupine quills
To sadists
Whose pills and bills
Stress plagiarists.

Spills and thrills attest to the veracity
Brewed in a Zambian pot
With sumptuous samples from Kitwe city
To derange a despot.

Spills and thrills summon skills
So agile
They mesmerize mills
In which the faint hearted grow more fragile.
