Tasty food for thought recipe and all. (Forgive me that.) Very entertaining write great skill revealed in the process. You are also spot on with that Beta reference as I do not know a woman who doesn't fancy 'florentine' selections on a menu. My understanding is that the flat leaves are the early harvesting of the same plants that later produce the more bitter crinkly leaves.

Your poem is delightful. I enjoyed reading it very much.
