Spiritual Journey Poem by michael Smajda

Spiritual Journey

As I walk barefoot toward Heaven
On cinders that bloody my feet,
He will heal them, forgive my sins,
Yes, when we face to face do meet.

But first, I must keep trekking on,
Despite the hardships I must face.
Without making such sacrifice,
I'd not be worthy of His grace.
