北國綻梅迎瑞雪
南山舞劍映朝霞
蛙聲喚醒兩堤柳
春色催開正月花

In the Northland plums blooming to welcome auspicious snow
In the South Mountain, waving a sword to reflect the morning glows

The spring colours urge flowers in the first month of the lunar year in bloom
On the two banks croaking of frogs awakens up willows
