Spring Has A Song To Sing Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Spring Has A Song To Sing

Enjoy
Spring has a song to sing
A melody to soothe
The aching heart

There will be no more
Lonely days or nights of
Melancholy
From it you must depart

Open up your eyes
There is so much to see
Look as her buds awake
Rising from their sleepy beds

All to make yoj smile
To lift your spirits
In the beautiful gardens
She will make

Allow your ears to hear
Spring's new melody
A melody of love to pamper
All that see the magic there

Buds will awake, listen, birds are
beginning to sing, forsythia will
spread joyous wings. dressed
All in yellow
