Spring Is Near Poem by Barry Middleton

Spring Is Near

Rating: 5.0

the air is changing now
and winter soon will fade
the cloudless sky is blue
no more am I afraid

for soon azaleas bloom
and brittle trees transform
the mockingbird will sing
and honeybees will swarm

each year it is the same
although I never tire
as spring brings hope again
forever to inspire

as life begins anew
I'll take another chance
and spin the wheel again
to change my circumstance

I will not miss the gray
I will not grieve the cold
I welcome sun and heat
the spring is precious gold

A lovely song of hope and spring. With the advent of spring, things change making a positive impact on the mind. A beautifully written piece that fills the reader with new energy. A big 10.

Thanks Nosheen. Dogwoods and azaleas are already blooming here. I am grateful that I live where I do.
