Furry jacks, clover clenched in cheeks,
Downy ducklings, freed by tiny beaks,
Chirping biddies, ’neath wing peeks;
Spring is new life!
Tender shoots, reaching for the sky,
Nestlings, nurturing attire to fly,
Ground crawlers crawl slowly by;
Spring is new life!
Nature’s perfumers’ fresh scent brings,
Heaven’s tears quench thirsty things,
Treetops talk, as fowl choir sings;
Spring is new life!
Squeaking cradles create bright faces,
Damp droplets form pooling places,
Cooling climates, there are no traces;
Spring is new life!
