Spring Knock Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Spring Knock

I see the flowers around
Different colors are found
Now so many friends to meet
And so many people to greet

I came to know later
Why did the situation alter?
Was weather improved?
or clouds were removed?

I had struck fortune
Father had left prestige like perfume
More over, there was lots of treasure
Unaccounted cash lots of property for sure

People might have come to know
Relatives too were aware when wind blew
I was wondering still
But I accepted it at personal will

Why spring should be blamed?
When nothing is there to claim
If fortune favors
People rush to grant an honor

I thanked all factors
Even though the change was minor
I welcomed it with good response
I felt now real happiness
