Stable Mind Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Stable Mind

Rating: 5.0

Stable mind

Nights are worshipped by thieves
For making entry into homes
Unnoticed and unaware
They challenge and dare

He time chosen is perfect
For their proven art
It is part of their perfection
And suited for skilled action

So thoughts are like thieves
And behave
With authority
To penetrate bravely

Who can stop their entry?
They come and go easily
Poison mind and sometimes stay
To divert the path and make sway

If we have stable mind
Nothing can trouble us of that kind
Thoughts can enter but be repulsed
With rejection and be forced

Your poem is so sweet. It's another way to build an idea about mindfulness. Thank you for sharing.
