Stacked Parliaments

Rating: 5.0

With sense and foresight
our forebears said:
'Right' can be the opposite of 'Wrong';
'Right' and 'Left' can both be directions;
and 'Left' cannot be 'Wrong'.

Stacked with sinistrophobes
and dextrophobes
are parliaments democratic.

That sinistrophobia is fear of the Left
and dextrophobia fear of the Right
is not fair to the Left:
'sinister' sounds malign;
'dextrous' rings positively deft.
